Yes, it can! By changing the corresponding molding tool, this machine can plane a variety of shaped contours, such as curved edges, chamfers, V-grooves, convex strips, etc., which is one of the most commonly used features in the furniture and upholstery industry.

Remember to lubricate the knife shaft and guide rail. It is better to check the oil level once a day before starting the machine.

Before feeding, we should check the direction and speed of the cutter shaft by idling first to avoid reversal damage.

Feed can not be too fast, let the machine “eat in, spit out”;

Timely cleaning of wood chips and dust, to ensure smooth chip discharge, to prevent clogging;

Processing size should be measured in advance test cutting, not unthinkingly batch feeding.

Turn off the power before waiting for the knife axis to stop completely, to avoid accidental injury or jammed material.

It generally depends on the type of wood and the quantity processed:

The knives need to be checked or sharpened in about 8-10 hours for hardwoods such as oak and beech.

Softwoods such as pine and fir can last longer.

The machines are usually fitted with replaceable HSS or carbide knives, which are easy to remove and replace.

Goggles and ear muffs must be worn when operating.

Do not allow hands or body near the feeder or cutter shaft area;

Periodically check that the emergency stop switch is sensitive.

Confirming that all safety doors and guards are closed before starting the machine;

Persons unfamiliar with the operation are prohibited from using the equipment alone.
